Reading a Book & Listening to the Audiobook at the Same Time

I’ve been working my way through Robert Fagles’ translation of The Odyssey in the lead-up to the film, and decided to listen to Ian McKellen’s recording of the same text. In the same way that listening or watching Shakespeare is different than reading it, his performance has brought something I’ve read before to life in a new way.

(The only frustrating part is that the chapters on Spotify don’t match up with the book).
